KITESURFING INJURY ACL and NEED BRACE FOR POST OP

I broke my leg badly back in april kitesurfing, Had 3 months non weight bearing and been exercising my leg ever since out hospital, obviously more now.
I now have to get my ACL repaired, booked for surgery early next month. Hope to kite again next year, no more stupidly powered kiteloops for me!
Wondering about a brace, seen so many different ones, kinda looking at the CTii OTS from Innovation Sports (ossur) and the Breg X2K extreme.
Any Advice? Anyone selling or now of a discount store as the ones i have seen have been damn expensive.
    Thanks
    BEN

I've had GII extremes, GII matrix, Breg X2K Custom and Breg Fusion, all for ACL's, the Breg fusion is the lightest, smallest and most comfortable to wear, it also costs like 900$..

I have a CTii from Ossur. It's very lightweight and doesn't affect my ROM. Plus, it comes in a variety of fashion colors! I really don't notice it much.

    Search JONG.

This topic has been covered ad nauseaum.

I've had two ACLRs, I had the Innovation CTi2 custom and now I've got an off the shelf Donjoy Armor short. I like the Donjoy much better.

I have the Breg X2K Extreeeeeeeeeeeeeeme! ANd its alright. Goes a little low on the shin to be comfy when skiing, but it's worked great and stayed in place for all other activities when I wore it.

I like the fusion more than the x2k, I wear both at the same time for hockey, the fusion is lower profile and less diggy into my leg. The X2k comes out too far around the knee cap, like a good 2 inches off. If you have the cash, get a fusion. Best brace of the like 5 or so I've had.
