    Sticker stoke for Nils' memory?

Inspired by the "Got change for a nickel" stickers and his avatar, I whipped up something that I think would honor him - spread these all over your ride, your helmet, your planks, what have you.

    Here's the sticker:

If everyone likes it, I'll make arrangements to get them printed, then we can figure something out with the price of the sticker - i.e. all profits go to Nils' family, etc.

That looks great, man. I'd vote to just shorten it to "Change for a Nickel?" but the 1-color Plakespear is great.

I can shorten it no problem.. I'll collect some more comments then make a revision, if people are interested.

Oh yeah, I'd like to do it in vinyl cutouts - not screen printed, so you can have a choice of colors.

That's awesome--nice job; giving the $ to the family is nice, but cancer research might be another good idea.

Well, let's worry about the sticker now and the money later. I'm doing this to honor his memory with something more permanent and widespread.

Think he would approve if I put one of these on my snowboard? Somehow I think he would let it slide.

Sounds like a good idea. I think a donation to cancer research in his name would be great. I'd be in for that.

    nice work ryank.
i'd proudly brand my gear, car etc with those.
    agree on clipping the "got"
    but it looks sweet!

another thought: maybe adding the years nils was here on earth.
these stickers may be around on objects for a long time, and it would be nice to provide a little context for those down the line. maybe the tgr address too, so curious people will know where to go to learn more about our fallen hero.

    So here's the copy:

    1) in memory of nils nissen 1983-2007
    2) CHANGE FOR A NICKEL?
    3) www.tetongravity.com

I feel like an idiot for asking this, but did I get his birth year right?

After some thinking, I think screen printed vinyl will be more permanent than laser cut vinyl because of the smaller letters - these tend to rub off skis and boards. The sticker can be white with screen printed black ink over it.

The sticker itself will be about 2.25" x 3.40" inches, perfect for skis and helmets, IMO.
