Starbucks is hardly "snotty" in the coffee world. Go to Trader Joes/WF/etc and get some coffee that wasn't roasted, ground, and freeze dried a couple years ago (Maxwell House)

I'm pretty sure even Starbucks doesn't have snot in it.

Well, I don;t want to have to go somewhere special to get it. Needs to be somethign available in non-fancy stores. Like A&P, etc-

get a grinder and buy whole bean.
even crappy coffee tastes better fresh ground.

Costco house brand. Freshly roasted in many of the stores, still warm when you buy, grinders available on site, FKNA CHEAP too. $3-$5 a pound.

    +1 for costco

I buy the big bag of starbux and grind to order at home. It's the only way to go and it's half the price of the g-store
