Filters? What should I have in my gear bag?

What do you guys recommend for lens filters for outdoorsy kind of shooting? What do you shoot with?

I mainly shot outdoors kind of things while hiking around with a XTi with 28-135mm IS, 75-300mm, and the canon stock 18-55mm lenses. All that I have by way of filters for is UV and polarized light.

can anyone recommend a 62mm polarizer for use with digital video?

If you're shooting digi, a circular polarizer (or a few, if you don't want to deal with step-up rings) and one or more NDs should be sufficient. Warming/cooling filters are unnecessary; just adjust your white balance appropriately. Whether or not you choose to use graduated ND filters for HDR or do digi-HDR is, to a large degree, a matter of personal choice.
