    College Radio Stations

University of Washington started an online radio station last year, www.rainydawg.com

They play a pretty good mix, everything from hip-hop to metal, last year there was a sports discussion show as well.

Anyone else know of any good online radio stations?

KXLU, 88.9 Los Angeles (Loyola Marymount Univ.). Was once a great station, but still has some of the old programs on late night. Blues Hotel (Wed@ midnight), Jazz Night Flight (Sat @ midnight), Stray Pop (Fri @ midnight), Alien Air Music (Sun@9:00), Demolisten, and Molitov Cocktail Hour (don't know current times for those).

KXLU's been online for a few years now. Recomended.

KPSU in Portland (Portland State Univ.) is also pretty good and unlike KXLU, they still devote a significant amount of programing time to PUNK. Recomended

damn, no streaming audio...but WERS Emerson college radio 88.9 plays SICK reggae, hip hop and blues and they have tons of live in-studio shows. I highly recommend it for the Boston-area suckas.

KSCU is pretty damn good and they have a stream set up.

For Jazz and Blues, look no further than KKJZ (formerly KLON). Cal State Long Beach runs it, and it's awesome. Check out their site for the stream too.

Even though I have no idea if it's online or not, Oregon State's college radio station wins the all time best-ever call letters award.
