I like this one, loads a little slow. FYI there's a pair of 180 cm '04 Explosiv's on the Sugarbush access road at Downhill Edge you can probably get for $425 or less if you talk sweet. (802) 583-3887. I just got some.....SA in Aug. -here I come! Thoughts on Valle Nevado?
eh give it a month or so, boston will seem ok again.
but right now, it sucks. especially when my fucking jeep won't start so i'm stuck here in the event that it actually gets cold enough for the freezing rain to turn to snow on mt. WA.
if only my parents didn't hate me, then i could borrow one of their cars...
translation: someone in boston with a car should come to mt. WA with us tomorrow/saturday if the weather comes through.
I'm afraid I have a very important job - today I'm making PDFs out of a bunch of deposition transcripts. The world will certainly end if I skip out a day.
the forecast is not so good. but because the company i work for is moving and we're closed for business i feel obliged to ski.
right now 26 and freezing rain. just need some colder air aloft and there will be a bunch of snow sitting on a nice zipper crust. hmm..so maybe the zipper crust isn't the best thing...
Jane's Addiction, Kettle Wistle, to the crowd: You got work tomorrow? DON'T GO!, DON'T GO! Utah look really really good to me right now. Beantown is $$ and no hills. No offense to you homegrowns out here.
basom, mildbill, powder11, is stump here? schussfahrt (JONG!!!), daveTV, phishingME.
the city itself is 100million times better than SLC.
the mt. biking is fun as hell if you're ok with flat landings, but coming from being close to LCC, you will never ever ever bother skiing here. 3 hours to anything worthwhile. and even that stuff is often not worthwhile.
I'd tell you to take the train up from north station and I could give you a ride from Dover, NH, but todays my birthday and tomorrows my party, so I'll be lucky if I can walk on saturday, let alone drive up and ski.
senior lcc: if you're moving anywhere within 30 miles of downtown boston, you'd better bring your visa card/have some money- because things can be pricey once your within route 128. i tried living in the area for a year and then retreated back to my mid-atlantic origins. did you know that it's against the law for a bar to offer happy hour specials in boston? it was explained to me that they can't do that kind of thing because it promotes "binge drinking". no shit, eh?
a great place to live if you are "in the know" about local places and things to do or have knowledgeable friends. lots to explore and discover, too many postive aspects to list here. very different than other places where i've spent substantial amounts of time. people often seem polarized in their opinions about boston, either loving or hating it. most of the people who grew up in the area still like it, which has got to count for something positive.
Originally posted by schuss yes it really is. It really does explain a lot about me. Funny thing is I have 3 other friends with the exact same birthday.
That's pretty wild. I've met at least a dozen people with my same birthday and never met a soul with today as their birthday. I always kinda figured the Docs fudged it a little to make it easier on people. Shows you what I know.
