    building a walk switch?

so if your cuff has a pretty free hinge, couldn't you cut about 1 cm of the base of the boot (where the upper cuff meets it behind your achilles), and bolt through some metal piece that could be pulled in and out of that space as needed? any of your work-shop whizzes ever think about or do anything like this?

Doesn't it already have a walk switch? And a "carve setting" - sounds cool

Yes, but if this boot is to soft and I end up buying something stiffer I will have to make my own walk setting. If it is a cool boot to ski then I will have no walk mode mods to make just vibram and rocker.....oh and maybee dynafit fittings

D'oh. I see. Sounds cool. I'd be interested in "adapting" the boot to have interchangable soles if it is up to all that. Prolly more work than it's worth though...

yup dont this to make a alpine boot more upright for girlguide so she could ski more like a ski instructor

works well, just go slowly and with a hacksaw or demal

If you cant them way forward like i have mine, the switch locks itself in the "ski" position.

how is "ski" different than "carve"?
    I love big dumps.
