My A.D.D. does not let me stay on it for long.

It is good for working on form.

I am going to put it up on Craig's List this fall.

As soon as I finish the bottle of Jack I'm going to hit up the skiers edge. I find the quick side to side transitions help my mogul skiing immensely. I wouldn't have ever tried skiing outside the mid-Atlantic, but the skiers edge gave me the confidence to hit the blacks out west this spring.

I'm dissapointed; no where in there does it say "you can even use the Skiersedge (TM) whilst ironing or watching TV!"

Now I need one. I was hoping to hit some of those black diamonds myself this year. Anyone have one to sell, or should I start a new thread?

    Go skiing.

I saw Graham Bell demo'ing one of these, he made a point of not stopping when people were talking to him and kept answering his phone. I too hope to ski in the Olympics one day, then go on to become one bad ass multitasking muthahubbard with pantloads of money.

I bought one two years ago and it helps. I am trying to have that look where my skis are really close together - almost like it is the same ski or something. When we go to Vail in the winter, I have my wife video tape me on Northwoods. Then in the off season I watch the video tapes and every time I see that my skis aren't together I force myself to do something. Like 5 pushups, a wall sit or sometimes something more intense. Since I've been using the skiers edge, my video tape sessions have become a lot less exhausting.

    That's extreme dedication.

Ever video the wife using her apparatus?

I admit I have thought they look fun......but man are they expensive. So, for free (up to a couple hundred) I might try it. Here comes the but.....

BUT....why not just do lots of side to side plyometrics. Put down two line of tape and jump side to side keeping the upper body super still and lower really working. The added advantage of plyo is getting some bone density going. Skiing is not impact free, so good to toughen up a bit.

Holy crap this thread feels like gapicski, but if it'll let me hit some blacks out west and get my skis as close together as possible...I might just shoot myself in the head with a framing nailer.

Blacks out west really aren't that tough to ski. What is really hard is looking good skiing them. Seriously, you should just give it a try.

If God had wanted texans to ski....
1 - He would have given them a mountain.
2 - He would have made BS white.

But at least now I the key to skiing the mega steeps of Northwoods:

orly? Is it that the steepness messes with your 10 gallon hat or does the black diamond clash with your starter jacket?

But what is cooler? I mean for getting the babes to notice my stance? Skier's Edge or Mono Ski. I don't want to attract the wrong kind of crowd.
