    Advice needed on Oregon trip

The wife and I want to head down to Oregon for the long weekend. I'm looking for some good camping and biking recommendations for either the Hood River area or the Oregon Coast. Ideally we are looking for quiet camping spots where it's cool to let the dog run around. As far as biking goes, something in the 8-10 mile range as the wife has a baby in the bun and has to take it easy.

I think she'll concede and let me get one day of gnar at either Post Canyon or Black Rock. Any PNW mags want to join me?

The coast is pretty much fucked for camping during the summer due to the throng of cali-apes.

My bike shop in bend is having a huge sale 20-70 % off. You should go to Bend, I like it here.

Just send your honey off the big booters at post canyon.

It's actually really peaceful up there in orbit.

There's plenty of mellow riding around hood river......actually even at post canyon. All you see are the pictures of the freeride stuff but there's a good network of chill xc trails there too.

Plus full sail brewery is there. Not for the food......but for......well, you know.

I think Hood River it will be. Any camping suggestions?

I think the wife would handle Post just fine even with the extra baggage. Plenty of smooth single track and ride arounds on all the big stuff. I'll just have to be extra vigilent to keep her off the stunts.
