I'm looking for a light weight 80-100mm XC fork with a lockout to put on a single speed. I have been more of a roadie the last few years and am not up on whats on the market these days. Any advice would be appreciated.

Fox F100 RLC
Rockshox Reba
Marzocchi Corsa SL WC
Those are all the top-end models that I would reccomend on the market. Are there other features you desire beyond just a lockout? Rebound/Compression dampening? Air vs. Coil? etc. etc.
And of course, price range?

I think I would prefer air just because that is what I am use to, but as long as it works well it doesn't really matter. I'm looking to spend from $350-$500.
Reba. Very happy with mine on the ss. A little lighter than my Fox, more adjustable, and cheaper. hmmmm.
I would opt for the Reba or something from Fox.
I have spent time on both, only went with the reba for it's bar mounted lock out.
Since then it's been a book you read in reverse, so you understand less as the pages turn.
The things you find on the net.
Reba. I love the one on my SS.
RockShox have their air forks/shocks pretty dialed.
yes! I forgot to mention the on bar poploc remote for the Reba. I frigging love that feature, esp for single speed.
Thanks for the input, I really like the idea of the bar mounted lock-out. It looks like my buddy at the LBS can pick up a REBA for me at a very resonable price.
I had a Reba and loved it until it shat the bed after one season. Got a fox F100RL something, and I like it better than the Reba when it was new. I'm not to picky about adjustment, etc, I like to set it and forget it. I think the handlebar lockout is lame, too, as it's not a 'real' lockout and the lever can and will get damaged in a crash.
Get a fox.
Or, you can buy my 2006 Reba team with not a drop of oil in it for $100 plus shipping. You can have it rebuilt for $150 and then you get a new-ish Reba for $250.
Marzocchi Corsa, Marathon, Fox, Reba. Fox will need oil change and seals about once a year if you ride a a lot, Reba's have been good to most people, Corsa's take a while to break in, Marathon's are solid and rebuildable.
Just got a giant trance with Reba Sl and must say it rides pretty damn good.
Hold the phone, I do have an 06' 100mm Fox Float RLT, (top o' da line air fork, w/lock-out) near mint, for $375. (shipping included)
Please consider.
It kicks a whole lotta ass.

Fox or RS. I'm not sold on Marzzochi's air forks just yet.
If you open a second beer and don't miss a beat between sips, is that two beers or just one 24 ouncer? -Tye 1on
