Qwest Blows need new broadband service!!!

No Comcast in our neighborhood. Qwest Broadband is about as reliable as Bill Clinton is faithfull to Hillary.

Any Utards (or anyone for that matter) have suggestions on T1 or high bandwidth DSL providers that may be available in Bluffdale? Anyone have experience with wireless carriers aka Utah Broadband etc...

I can't deal with this crappy Qwest service, especially when I work mainly from home!!!

I've heard mixed reviews about digis.net but it's another option I guess. You have limited options when you live out in the sticks

Ever since I joined bobmc on the westside things have been sliding downhill...

On the upside, a quick (well, not quick for me) database search of registered sex offenders within 3/4 of a mile of where I live shows about 400.

If you want to PM me the info I need (all I need is address and telephone number) I can get you a quote from the top 15 or so providers of T1 lines- like AT&T, Megapath, Speakeasy, (and Qwest, which sounds like you would not be interested in) etc. Or PM me an email address and I can provide more details if interested.

The local loop and all the carrier rates are included (reason for the telco and address to know the distances involved.) Some include the router to and free installation, others do not offer free installation. It is all spelled out though. Some of them like AT&T include proactive monitoring in their contracts and they contact you if there is any type of outage on the line (you get a call if someone pulls the plug, powers off the router, etc.)
