All I want to do is set up a simple flash website!!

I'm totally lost and confused. All I want to do is set up a simple website, showcasing about three flash galleries. 20-30 photos total.

I use Lightroom, which creates the flash galleries, but I don't know how to get the galleries online.

    WTF do I do?

    1. Get a domain name, i.e. bestestflashgalleryevah.com
    2. Get hosting, i.e. some storage space to put the crap you want people to see online on. Can be your dedicated machine, or chances are people you are buying the domain name from offer some kind of hosting plans, for example asmallorange.com.
    3. Upload your crap to the hosting machine.

    7. Get no Google love cuz all your content is Flash based.

Does Lightroom embed the Flash movie in HTML for you, and create the image directories, etc, so it's all tidy and ready to go, or....?

From my understanding, Lightroom creates the whole flash gallery, and all I have to do is upload it somewhere.

Problem is, I can't figure out how to upload it through FTP.

    I'm totally lost.

It looks very easy, according to this video tutorial on Adobe's website.

Just checking, but you do have space on a web server somewhere to host your gallery, right? That is usually provided by your ISP as part of your internet access.

Lightroom can't magically put your files somewhere in cyberspace so they can be viewed on the internet.
