Mattafix have spent the last 6 months grafting away on their second album which, they are delighted to announce, is finished! Recorded in London, Oxford and South Africa with songs written across the globe, the album blends the typical Mattafix sound with a new outlook provided by the incredible experiences of their last two years. The first single, entitled ‘Living’, is set for release on the 22nd of October. The album, entitled ‘Rhythm & Hymns’, will be released on November 12th.

The video for ‘Living’ was shot in Eastern Chad on the border with Darfur. Mattafix, in conjunction with Save Darfur and Crisis Action, are hoping that the video will raise awareness of the struggle in Darfur and Eastern Chad. The Mattafix boys are extremely proud of this second effort and quietly confident that ‘Rhythm & Hymns’ will make an impact on the soundscape of 2007/2008.
