I help some guys out when I'm not at school.

    Before

    After

Today was my last day. I would have capped the windows, but I didn't feel like taking the break down off the truck Notice the mitered J-channel, and the smiley face in the roof on the lower right side.. Ugh, now back to skool for another semester...

    Hallway Desk

Built this desk for a client right before I moved out to Utah. I don't remember the specific dimensions but it wasn't too big. Just a simple desk for a laptop and some writing. Its made out of Jatoba and Ambrosia Maple. The pics suck pretty badly but I will let them do the talking.

I cut this out of a piece of 3/4" baltic birch plywood that I had left over from making some shelves. I made a template and used a router to round the edge, and formed the wheelwells with a rasp and a piece of 80 grit wrapped around a spray paint can. 36"x8.5", set up with Tracker Extracks and 3dm Avalons. It's my first "long" board, can't wait to ride it.

^ those wheels are dead ringers for RR4s from the day, way you can see the bearing through the urethene. Lose 6 inches and the rug and the pics could be straight outta the val surf ad from 1977.

I've been working for a custom door/millwork shop for the last year almost. We build solid wood, stile and rail doors mostly.

This is a pretty nice one, a diamond shaped true divided light, cherry, with a raised panel on the bottom half.

Old guy in the background is the funniest mother fucker I've ever met.

That's up the road from me. We actually had family in town that weekend and went to their hotel to take advantage of the hot tub, and all you clean snowmobile motherfuckers were holding a massive sausagefest in the hot tub with a few 30 packs of keystone light. Literally 2 deep - one circle sitting around the edge and another circle sitting IN the hottub. You guys cleared out after an hour or so. We took a pass.
    focus.

It's actually pretty cool. Prototype marine propulsor... Contra-rotating props with only 1 motor and no gears. Right now, it's starting to piss me off, but that's a long story.

fuckyeah! One of the only ones in the world. We got fourth overall. Had problems with overheating and our engine mounts. We never replaced them for this years competition, and they were not beefy at all. about 5 miles into part two of our fourty mile enduro we ripped them right out. In the words of a passerby.. "too much diesel."

I should really switch from civil to mechanical. Civil is fucking boring. Then again, I have no idea what I want to do with my life.

Mustonen... which hotel was it? I think it was just us and Clarkson in the Ramada. I dunno where the other schools stayed.
