The kids like this so far. It was a birthday present for the 4 year old. 400-500 for materials. It could be completed in a weekend if you are motivated.

Here is the best link for shed building, it's a long thread but there are plenty of pictures showing the framing.

That's the thing.
I have a climbing wall about that size on a play structure at home. I was given all the holds and bolts. Easily $200-250 worth of stuff. That net isn't cheap either.

I have a friend in Hazelton who built a climbing wall in his living room. He built his grips himself out of MDF with a jigsaw and a router table. For thicker grips he glued a few layers together. He painted them up and they worked really well. He bought a bunch of MDF backing, drilled it full of holes and installed T Nuts to the back of it. He hung the MDF on the walls/ceiling and attached the grips. He had 2 walls and a 45* overhang, probaby about 20' x 20' of wall and 10'x20' of overhang. He had colour coded routes from easy to fucking hard.
You are what you eat.

Friend of mine built a crack machine in his SF apt--adjustable width, flare, overhang. (FFA Lotus Flower Tower in 50 Classics)
I forgot about that thread.

I built this 22 ft outrigger canoe in Kona a couple years ago. All carbon shell and paddle with thermo core bulkheads.

A shed is in the queue at rancho highmen with loads of pro crastination ongoing.
Part of my problem is the location is riddled with mountain beaver holes. so I need to spend some time setting up a foundation so that there won't be any sagging.

Slapped this little 14' drift boat together this spring. 3/8 ply shell with glass and carbon. 80 man hours over a month cost about $1100
Just got through that. Three years later and the shed of doom still stood. Anyone know its current condition.
And I am mitigating the shed of doom v2.0 by purchasing a shed kit. I still have to build the foundation, put it together and roof it, so I imagine I'll still have some good fodder.
What better way to keep up with the Jones then have 3 sheds!
On the left is a 12x16 shed turned rental turned grow op turned rental again. Center is timber framed sauna turned grow op turned shed and on right is shed with rock holds attached. I have too much junk, need to purge ...
I'll take one of those sheds.
lotta work. well done.

Built this nice little bench overlooking the channel between Lahaina and Lanai. It would be cool to paddle across some day.

Cool design, P- modern adirondack. Are the backs attached to the house or kinda floating?
ledger on the wall is my guess
quick & slick... i like
Soften those miters and put endgrain sealer and the splinter potential goes to zero. sanding sealer will work too. simple candle/parifan wax if yer willin to wait the cure time of a few days gives nice results.
putting them away for winter?
I am not in your hurry
