Kitchen looks great! Is there going to be hardware or pulls on the cabinets or is it built in? What's the floor material?

Floor is tigerwood. Still trying to decide what to do for pulls, tried a few different handles, but didn't like anything so far. I think I am going to have to make them. Thinking a simple + over the inset part will look good.

I'd go with swastikas instead. Great conversation starter.

I would love to have a copy of you plans if your willing to share. My wife and wanted a pair of Adirondacks for a spot in the back of the yard, but haven't found a design we like. Yours nails it and if love to put a pair together.

Impressive shit all through this thread.

Here's some boring, drunk, Friday afternoon cutting and nailing that doesn't even qualify as carpentry.

A new rear-platform for the Astro van. I use this, folded down rear seat and a pop-up plastic 4'x2' table for a bed platform. Used to have a similar 4'x2' table in the back, but it was a bit too wide to allow the back seat to be raised with the rear door closed. A 6 pack with a buddy and some left over wood fixed all that.

Now skis go underneath, boots/gear stay dry on top, and people can relax in the AstroLimo on the way up to the hill.

not my plans, these are a precursor to adirondack chairs
my only mod was to shift the horizontal brace that would be at your heel from the front of the chair leg to the back

First, the Adirondak Chair made from craigslist skis:

Then, my day job. This thing weighs 820 g and outputs about 6 HP at 2k rpm, but for very short amounts of time.

And on the side, for fun and profit:

    One of the molds:

    The resulting product:

And part of an as-yet-unannounced gizmo for a rifle:

A board I did for a company I did some conslutting work for a while back. They finally published a picture of it:

Simple coffee table from poplar. Mortise and tenons for the legs, top uses biscuits. Linseed finish. Feels really nice, first experience playing around with hand planes and after everything was cut to size used planes for just about everything.

Great work all! In keeping with the repurposed objects here is one the missus and I knocked out for her office. It's some old pine shelving from the basement and some pallets. She wanted a meeting table for occasional use but not take up the whole office. Click image for larger version.

Only issue is the chairs she grabbed are little kid chairs but those are being replaced with grown up chairs this week. Already had requests to build more for others.

Did not build this, but got it for free a few days ago. Old school 70's Rossi ski boots. Click image for larger version.

This took about 15 minutes last weekend to make from random scrap wood lying around in the basement and some cabinet liner material. Mobile, sturdy enough, and the grippy liner material keeps everything still when mounting/tuning/scraping/brushing.

Wildwater boat, 3/4 kevlar and glass layup with biased kevlar seams inside and out and selective reinforcements, 30ish lbs. Modified from an existing design which I changed in the mold process.

Nice Union Jack product placement. Had a few of those this weekend and approve.

This was something that took most of the summer to get together. Friends of mine run a Burning Man camp and I helped out with building the DJ booth/shack/dancefloor that sat on top of a 28 foot-long flatbed. Our buddy built the sound from scratch that ultimately pumped out 40,000 watts through 18 21" subs. Without exaggeration, this was the best system at BM and probably one of the best in the world. Cost about $25-30k to make; could sell for $250+ easy.
