    Pair of Garmont rando boots.
3-layer goretex bib pant hanging from the closet door.
Guidebook; Classic Climbs of the Cordillera Blanca Peru, by Brad Johnson sitting on my coffee table.
Guidebook; The Andes, A Guide For Climbers, by John Biggar.
Foot/binding plate that popped off of my Volant Spatulas when I broke them, hanging on the wall.

By this afternoon, there might be another pair of skins and a new ski bag sitting on my floor.

    Jesus!

But what's remarkable isn't the amount of gear. Its that it is all located in my kitchen and living room.

2 pair of unmounted Broheamoths on the living room floor. I come in for a break from the 100 degree heat and stare lovingly at them knowing soon it will be their time.

Three 10mm ropes, all around 60m, need to look over and retire one or so, the boat needs some new rope
    A few map books
two fly rods waiting to see a stream this weekend, finally it's not 100 degrees!

No, they should start feeling a little better, but smelling a lot worse, after a few uses. Hit a local gym a few times before wearing them where you need them.

He forgot my auras hanging next to his skis, his mountain bike on the balcony, and a pile of circa 1970 trad gear given to us by my Dad when we were home in June. The piton hammer came in handy when we were driving tent-stakes on our trip over the summer, but I don't expect we'll use it climbing any time soon.

I'm at work, so not much, just a BD avalung pack. There is a chalk bag and La Sportiva shoes in my car if that counts.

Right now I'm about 3 feet from a voile strap and an old Scarpa powerstrap attached to my Dana Designs Partydog backpack.

Otherwise, I'm probably 100' from my Point Blanks 7'2" Rocket Sled.

    Sitting in my home office...

    In front of the desk...
1 Cannondale bike, 3 buckets of Slazenger pressureless tennis balls and a Klippermate racquet stringer and 5 rolls of string

    Beside the desk...
1 Silent Partner Pro tennis ball machine, 10 tennis racquets

In my office closet Fischer AMC 79's, Fischer RX8's, Chubbs, Dynastar rock skis, 1 pair of Kryptons and a pair of Fischer F8000 boots

In the right rear corner of the office...
1 Thule ski rack and 3 fit kits to match various vehicles

My home office is 8' X 10'. I have to weedle my self through all the gear to get to my desk.

    The mountains are my gym.

I've got blisters now and the shoes are a little scuffed, but otherwise the same - stiff and small. Sheesh. The climbing was fun though.
