Free at last, free at last - sorta

Coming up on three months after allograft ACL/meniscectomy and the ortho and PT have told me to get lost - and to be careful for another three months. Going home tonight and am going to try to run - with my brace. Next up with the doctor is a cheilectomy for each of my stiff big toes. Soon I'll be flying.

Now begins the fun stuff: Keeping it up without someone telling you to.

Wow, running at 3 months. Careful not to pivot and stuff. I can get around my block once so far before it gets painful. Doc said this would be expected.

Will take time, I have to remember that or I get frustrated.

Damn, I'm jealous. I'm 6mo post injury and just rode a real non-stationary MTB for the first time 2 weekends ago (although i rode it fast ). Granted, that was after a patella tendon rupture but still.

Get after it but know your boundaries and then divide by 2 just in case -- I'd go certifiably insane if I reinjured and had to go through this ordeal again

Me to, same surgury same time frame. I'm still hitting PT hard, and could not really imagine running, without some serious inflamation. I did have some cartalidge damage though, and I think its setting me back considerably with lots of inflamation.
