And they know who you are too. They showed great restraint not banning him earlier, as most on the board are not in favor of banning, except in extreme cases, which Jamie/SNR became. I would feel no loss on seeing you banned too, but just being a dick is not a reason for banning, so enjoy being a douchebag, I have little doubt it is one of your few pleasures in life.

You guys really ought to thank Frozen. I was camping when Jamie/iskibc crossed the line with whatever it was (I never saw what he posted). Frozen handled it by his own self.

And yes, I've known for a long time now that iskibc had a bunch of obnoxious aliases, and found it puzzling. In most cases, alias personalities aren't very different from the primary one.

It's not so easy to decide exactly where the line is, given the number of different points of view on this forum. There are quite a few members whose online personalities I personally find quite unpleasant, but who perhaps still contribute something of value to the forums.

Until now, obnoxious as they were, iskibc's aliases managed to stay just on the non-banning side of the line, as far as I could tell. I have always read the will of the community to say that simple meanness is not enough reason for banning. If I've gotten that wrong, or if we want to re-evaluate, I'm all for it. I don't like mean people.

For those of you who are hoping that cleaning out one guy and his many aliases will somehow end the obnoxious summer flamefests, don't hold your breath. There are plenty of other contributors to the shitshow - both directly and via aliases.
