The vid isn't terrible, someone has a very shaky hand in one of the segs. That jump was pretty gaperish though, and the one kid skiing the pow that damn near ate it a couple of times needs to stop getting lazy and dropping his hands or he is going to face plant hard. The part where the one guy almost hits the camera is by far the best part, keep working at it.

The dimensions for the new avatar just look goofy.

As PaSucks said, whoever is filming has got a real shaky hand. Don't zoom in so much, keep it wide angle, try using the eyepiece, not the lcd screen and concentrate on nothing but keeping your subject in the picture and moving the camera very slowly while you hold it steady. If the vid is jumping all over the place it will make even decent footage unwatchable.

Also, as you are watching the raw footage and triing to decide what to put into the movie, if you find a clip boring or questionable, the rest of the world is probably going to find it painful to watch. You were there, so consequently you are going to find redeeming qualities in alot of sub-par segments that are going to make the rest of us look away.

I hope that comes across as it was meant, as 'constructive' criticism. I love the fact that you are out there filming dude, keep it up. With any luck, hardrider, MD and shoelaces will provide me with some footage from this coming week at the kirkwood comp. If so, i will try to get some up next week.

Thanks, hopefully by the end of summer I'll have enough footy to put together a cool video, I'm getting less shaky with the camera, might try to make a pole into a tripod mount so that it will be even less shakey. If any ak mags want to photoslut for me let me know, the morer footy the better

I know it's not always possible to film on clear days, especially if it's just dumped, but you should really try to. The flat light footage looks pretty dull and boring, and since you can't see any of the scenery, it makes it hard to tell where the hell you are filming. Keep at it though.

Don't film snowboarders doin 50 50's over short rails. It's just going straight...i mean carving is harder. Next thing you know you will be filming skiers going straight over fun boxes.
