After the 1995 bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed fiveU.S. military personnel; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

After the 1996 Khobar Towers bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed 19 and injured 200 U.S. military personnel; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

After the 1998 bombing of U.S. embassies in Africa, which killed 224 and injured 5,000; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

After the 2000 bombing of the USS Cole, which killed 17 and injured 39 U.S. sailors. Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

If Clinton had kept those promises, an estimated 3,000
people in New York and Washington, DC that are now dead may be alive today.

AN INTERESTING QUESTION:
This question was raised on a Philly radio call-in show.
There are two men, both extremely wealthy. One develops relatively cheap software and gives billions of dollars to charity. The other sponsors terrorism. That being the case, why was it that the Clinton Administration spent more money chasing down Bill Gates
over the eight years in office, than chasing down Osama Bin Laden?

It is a strange turn of events. Hillary gets $8 Million for her forthcoming memoir. Bill gets about $12 Million for his memoir yet to be written. Their blind trust is estimated to be at least $25 million. This from two people who spent 8 years being unable to
recall anything about past events while under oath.

Better to not do anything than to have an additional 3600 americans die because we go to war in a country that didn't have any ties to 9/11. And Osama is still a free man

Too bad I've never paid too close attention to the actual events when Clinton was supposed to go after Osama, but I thought the republicans were the ones who opposed sending more people after him.

First, see MeatPuppet's post. Snopes yanked one contention to "falsify" but quoted the entire text. Then they qualified their "false" with Clinton's squirming.

Second, refer to the thread title, read up on the import of punctuation, and then get back to me on whether I assumed the veracity of the quoted language.

I don't post slamming every aspect of the Bush administration. There are many things to be critical of Clinton for, but this list of "facts", posted without any citation to the source, is so ridiculous as to deserve the STFUYFM post. If Carter pardoned Clinton, surely there would be a record of such pardon? Show it to me. If Clinton was a known fugitive, surely there would be some record of it, right? He's a felon? Hmm, I thought you had to be convicted to be a felon. The list goes on, if legitimate facts and citations to legitimate sources are provided, then it's good troll bait.

Like I said, there's plenty to nail Clinton on, these "facts" are weak.

Carter's second day in office he pardoned all who avoided the Vietnam draft through either not registering with selective services or by traveling abroad.

...and like I said - I'm not here to bash Clinton (or even agree w/the OP, for that matter) - I just think it's really funny how Rep/Conservative bashing is soooo cool here, yet anytime anybody doubts the integrity of any Lib/Democrat they are immediatly told to STFU by the resident TGR Librodouches. But of course - there's no double-standard on the TGR forums (and no overwhealming libral bias, either).

Is it better to spend ridiculous amounts of money, time and lives to fight terrorism? (a battle that is almost impossible to win)
