Thumbs up WRSI Full Face Helmet prototype PICTURE

Oh yea! Here is a prototype of the WRSI FPS (Face Protection System) shown mounted on a WRSI Helmet (vented). Since it is an add-on product, that must mean you can take it back off for the days you don't want it: You won't need two helmets! Also, nobody is going to be able to claim price as a reason for not having FF protection. I call first in line!

    Sweet...but I don't see a picture.

So...do you know...can you mount this thing to the existing WSRI helmet, or will it only fit on some "new" version WSRI helmet? Any idea when this thing will be available?

    Looks riveted in that photo.

Anyways, good for WRSI. I think more and more people will be paddling with full face helmets in the near future.

Two helmets doesn't really bother me, though. One goes with the creekboat, one goes with the playboat.

You are right it does look riveted... but then would that require the user to rivet it? At the prices they are selling for you you can buy 2 WRSIs and the FPS for under $200 so it still isn't a big deal. I agree, good on WRSI for pushing top level protection at a price everyone can afford.

    full face wrsi

they say it will fit on all helmets sold in 2007 and beyond. If you bought it this year your in luck, if you bought it in 2006 no luck. They said they may have some deal to trade in 2006's through the retailer but no details. looks killer though.
