    I'm speechless,

I don't really know how to reply to things like this,

it looks like it is looking up.

I don't know you, but, I feel like you could
easily be one of my friends.

    Good luck.

I hope we can go skiing together sometime,
    oh, I mean...
    I ride a snowboard,
    so...
    well, you know...

    thank you for your story.

It sounds like you're heading in the right direction. Nice one, mate!

Congrats on the attitude and the strength and the general kick-assedness of all that you embody. There's a doofus in Montreal wishing you strength and humour and reminiscing about the tgr chats and Hoss Hog greetings. Your one of the good ones for sure and I can't wait to finally make some turns with you.

I'm a little late to the party, but I'd just like to wish you the BEST OF LUCK!!! I hope beyond hope you kick cancer's ass and live a wonderful life. You truly are an inspiration and we all could learn a lot from you. We all have shitty things that happen in our lives (break-ups, lost jobs, traffic) but your fight puts it all in perspective.

I'm no medical doctor and I only stayed at a Holiday Inn Express once, but your outlook, attitude and personal strength will be your cure for what ails you. These things are stronger than the vicious, necessary stuff you get pumped into your body in the hospital. Here's to your fight and your victory

Just read your post, haven't read any responses yet, tears in my eyes. You are amazing M.
Once you enter "cancerworld," you are never the same, whether you are the patient or that patient's family/friend.

This hits me at an interesting time as my GF is having an ultrasound in the next few days for a lump in her breast that she been watching for a few months--she was told by 2 docs, including her surgeon father (a specialist in breast surgery), that it most likely wasn't cancer, probably a cyst/fibroid or something (I'm no expert!), so we left it at that. But it hasn't gone away and now she is getting a little scared. Hence the further investigation. I am overcautious and thought she should get an immediate biopsy, but she deferred to the docs...

I honestly hardly saw your bald head in that second to last pic--I just saw your radiance and beautiful smile.
I am glad to hear that you have such strong loving support in your fight--that can make all the difference in the world.
    And now you have us.

Actually, she has been. Just the other week she came up here and pulled off the 2 sport day MTBing and wakeboarding. And she killed it on both. And last weekend we went out on the boat for a few hours and she slayed it again on the board.

    I mean she's strong, she's bald, she's an activist...waitaminute...

Wow, I can't believe this has been going on for the last 6 months . . . it makes me want to hop on a bike and share a laugh with you! I've been thinking a lot about our good times in d-ville recently and you've crept into my thoughts more than once - it's definitely some perspective to find out that you've been fighting a very real fight while it's so easy to assume that no news means status quo . . .

Your spirit and depth of character have shone since the day I met you, and continue to shine in this post. Your presence improves the lives of the people around you, and I am glad to hear that the gifts you've shared with others are coming back to lift you up through this process.

Congrats to being back on the road to recovery, and for keeping an incredible perspective on this journey . . . I can't even begin to imagine what the road has been or what is coming, but positive thoughts will certainly be coming from up north!!

    Keep on keepin' on
