Bring the G7 and we'll rock. Most of the photography tips/techniques will be applicable to a full-featured point and shoot like the G7 as well.

Wow, you have some really beautiful photos. I'm sad to admit that I haven't touched my camera since I got to Utah. Almost a year ago.

Now quit convalescing and pull out that PHOTO-GRAPHIC MACHINE. Come to the course, inspiration (or at least some damn good energy) is guaranteed...

Ma'am. I have the Nikon D70 and it is just sitting on my end table in the living room. I've taken maybe 20 photos with it since I got it. I suck.

In all honesty, I used to be pretty good. I took a couple of photography classes in college. I just went with digital this time around because I can't afford all the film that I'd go through...provided I used the damn thing.

So what exactly is going to happen at this class thing?

We had a 'slide' show last year at my house. And when several people were goggling over Grizzle's amazing photos, someone asked "How do you shoot such nice photos?" His response was "Shoot 'em right".

    Smart ass.

Most of the techniques and tips will be fairly basic. There will be some specialized discussion on filters, etc. However, if you've taken photography courses before, I imagine most will be review. That said, I will be showing a slideshow and it never hurts to go over the basics again!

Obviously, I'm gonna try and expound a bit on that this time around...

I am going to show up, and heckle Griz from the back row, and will have a big sharpie in my pocket .

I have a "Barker" hanging over my fireplace, I gotta go to support my favorite local artist. You gotta help me learn how to use my Canon S3, by the way. I butchered the shit out of The Grand Canyon, and have been saying "what if" a lot lately (as in what if I knew how to use this thing, might I have ended up with some decent shots ). I will bring the manual, it is a textbook, I can't understand any of it.

Wish I could attend, I'm a big fan of his work as well.

Just like my buddy the chef says when asked about cooking.

"How long do you cook it?"

    "Until it's done."

"How much salt do you add?"

    "The right amount."
    Calmer than you dude

I have a few "Barkers" in my house as well.

On a more serious note, If I have the day off, I will attend. I picked his brain a bit on our way down Timp. Useful knowledge abound. More would be nice.

Will you be playing the theme song from the Italian Job with the slideshow?

This is pretty cool mang, glad you're getting some pub and giving back a little to the locals. And yea, could you bump this in 3 weeks for us that don't even remember what we've got going on later today?

I must say that I'm looking forward to Tuesday. I was at REI yesterday to see what was on sale and it was packed full of people. So I left.

So stupid question since I've never been to one of these before, do I bring my camera? I've heard both yes and no from people I've asked, so I decided to go right to the source!
