Will I be skiing at The Canyons this year?

The saga continues. ASC sucks. OK, there was a sale to Talisker for $100 mil. However, was the sale marred in deceit, conspiracy, fraud and the like? Somehow, because it involves ASC, I don't doubt it.
Was there a prior agreement between ASC (or Pyramid) and Vail to sell The Canyons to Vail? Who the Fack is this guy Robbins? Initially, I thought that Griswold was a schmuck. Now, I think that ASC may have been pulling his chain the entire time.
Right now, Vail is in the Fed. Dist. Court in Denver attempting to obtain a TRO blocking the sale of The Canyons to Talisker. At thesame time, Griswold is in the Fed. Dist. Court in SLC asking permission to refuse to consent to such as sale. My $.02, fuck Talisker. They are a real estate company, not a resort operator. I want to see Vail running The Canyons.
This summer, I have already invested $1700 for seasons passes. I hope I don't have to hike for ALL my turns at The Canyons this summer.

actually, we are more than a real estate company but yes, that is the major focus since it is a money maker, unlike operating a ski resort.

As it is, most of the people running the Can would probably be first in-line to keep operating the place but i am sure there would be some major changes like bringing in people with experience at high end ski resorts such as vail, aspen, and the like. It's just the way this company (Talisker) operates.

I say fuck Vail because soon they are looking at buying more than just the Canyons. With an office already set up in SLC, the Cottonwoods are a sure bet to be bought out. Imagine Alta or the Bird being owned buy them!

Alta, the mega-resort with super high end restaurants all over the mountain. That wouldn't suck, would it?
There's a world out there full of color, dreams, and imagination. What are you waiting for?

If that's going to happen, then it's going to happen. I like the idea of a $35 (or so) AltaBird pass.

Really, I'm more concerned with Talisker installing high-end cuisine than Vail. To me, it's ALL about skiing quality natural terrain, not eating a facking kobe beef burger while I'm there. My impression is that Talisker is more concerned with the later than the former. I just don't know. Talisker has NO (zero) experience operating a mountain.

well regardless the mountain will still be operating this winter, I wouldn't worry about that. i also wouldn't expect any real changes until the season after whatever sale is complete, especially with kenny involved, he's probably going to drag that shit out for at least a few more years. i seriously can't believe nobody had done bad bad things to that guy.
