Yes, tana has lost both of her big toe nails from soccer in the last year. Both had the funky little lump you have described. Yeah, my wife's toes look like phUnk's... I'm a lucky man.

Yeah, I've got the funky little toenail lump going too. It's natural, and it's beautiful.

Yeah, if it looks a little phunky, but not too phunky, that's about right.

You saved the toenail like I did, right? I'm posting pics of it tomorrow.

This thread is my reason for getting out of bed every Friday. It is too bad we don't do this every day. I laugh my ass off when reading it, for some reason I find useless, pointless drivel absofrikkenlutly hillarious.

    Tylynol PM is good.

Everytime I see phUnk's avatar out of the corner of my eye I think it is two penguins standing next to each other.

I tried, I really did. I ended up having to clip it off (one corner just wouldn't let go), anyway, while hacking, it just kind of cracked into pieces.

It's ok though, the nail didn't turn black so I always thought of it as a sub-decent kind of slacker. It didn't deserve to be memorialized.

eww md9, nasty. at least you've got some nice shots there. after i had my root canal, the insurance company wanted photo evidence of the proceedure fro my dentist before they'd pony up for a porceline crown- or whatever it is they're using these days. lame employer = lame dental insurance = days of waiting with a hole drilled into my tooth, covered only by a temporary fix.

in hindsight, eating doritos two days after the initial proceedure probably wasn't a good move on my part. the tooth broke in half vertically. the dental surgeon guy had to go through a process similar to what you described as far as the cutting of the gums and the shaving of the bone. he put a small titanium post into my jawbone and then covered the entire thing with the porceline crown. all of this was painful.

i wish that my dentist was clever enough to have known to give me the testicular paper cuts/lemon juce treatment. at least you've got that going for ya.

My favorite thread every week. I heart it. Last week something fun was started, then collective ennui set in. Hopefully we can keep it going longer - so let's at it:

Golf, WTF? I watch, fascinated, as grown men act like this "sport" could actually prevent wars, starvation, what have you. Tiger Woods, tight-buttocked as he is, happens to be the spokesgolfer for Nike. They also make shoes, actually they're made for them in China, which we're having free trade issues with right now. Unfortunately China also has an unfortunate history of ...

You know 1080........like you........but......you're continued dismissal of the Western part of this state is lame.

I challenge you to spend some time over on the green side, there's so much here that is amazing (the same is true for Eastern WA). Washington is a fantastic state from corner to corner (IMHO).

    Talking

One on one with Donald Rumsfeld

    http://www.strongsmell.com/archived/...d_rumsfeld.jpg

The young pup who smoothed the way for Gerald Ford's triumphant presidency talks about war, war, war, war, and then for a change talks about war.

    strongsmell.com: Fuck you.

    Donald Rumsfeld: Oeuf.

    smell: That's French for "egg."

    DR: Really?

    smell: Mmm-hmm.

    DR: I don't speak French.

    smell: Figured.

DR: French is the language of those opposed to freedom and honour.

    smell: How so?

DR: Well, for one thing the French totally failed to bring Diana's killers to justice.

    smell: ...

DR: And also they think the world is some kind of personal sandbox and they can just go kicking sand in the face of whomever they please and nobody can stop them because they're too big and too strong and too bloody-minded to be dissuaded.

smell: No, that's not the French. That's you.

DR: Right. Sorry. I always get those mixed up.

smell: It's the phenylalanine, isn't it?

    DR: I beg your pardon?

smell: The phenylalanine. From the aspartame.

DR: What the devil are you talking about?

smell: Assface, do you not remember a thing? As. Par. Tame. Chemical sweetener. Found in carbohydrate-reduced beverages. Marketed under the name "NutraSweet" during the 1980s.

    DR: ...

smell: NutraSweet was a Searle product.

DR: Sorry, I'm just not following you.

smell: You were the boss of Searle in the 1980s.

    DR: Really?

    smell: Yup.

    DR: Oh.

    smell: ...

DR: So what else did I do?

smell: Not totally sure if it was you, but I think you look hot in vinyl.

    DR: ...

    smell: Rowr!

    DR: (coughs)

    smell: ...

    DR: ...

    smell: (sly grin)

DR: If you'll excuse me I have a craps practice to get to.

    smell: You practice that?

    DR: Of course.

smell: Why not just let nature take its course?

    DR: ...

    smell: ...

    DR: Leave me alone.

Allright, that one was lame, I know. It was mostly a comment on the picture, not as much as Sea-town, didn't come off that way though.

I grew up over there, I know what it has to offer. Just the past 6-7 years has made that place unbearable for me. There are too many damned people over there.

Growing up I ALWAYS hated the rain though. Never liked it, not even one day, while I lived there. A good buddy of mine feels the same way. He never really knew how bad it was until he moved away for a while. He now lives in Boise.

Only other complaint is that everyone in Seattle thinks its the cat's ass. It's such a great place and we're such better people than anyone else. Never took to the attitude over there even when I was growing up it rubbed me the wrong way. Funny thing is to travel I-90 on one of the 3 day weekends. The traffic out of town is endless on fri. night and monday there's always a 20 mile traffic jam around cle elum.

Only thing it really has going for it is $$$. Can't make shit here.

We've been through this before, I'll back off...

Such gross generalizations and misrepresentations. You do yourself and your state a disservice but let us speak of this no more (at least until your attitude improves )

So, I'm going to do Examiner's Bay to Breakers in S.F. this year, I've decided. This race is such a blast....naked people running around, people in drag, all sorts of costumes. My brother's crew did a ghostbusters theme last year. It was hella dope. This year I need a theme to put together for a few friends. One year, I actually ran the thing. That was fun, but not as fun as rolling along a keg would be. That's a big job, however...so maybe we could do something simple. And carry beer along with us. Maybe we could all be inner-tubers and duct-tape rum and cokes to our innertubes and run around in swim suits.

Dude, if you make a film one day, it's gonna make "Eraser Head" look like "Veggie Tales."
