    Man, I'm just dumb sometimes

    So somehow I managed to lose the 4th piece of my 4-piece flyrod while wading back to the truck tonight. Doubt that'll be covered by the warranty. Hopefully I can just buy that piece from Scott.

    done it.

    and learned a lesson. i string up my rod when i leave the truck, i unstring it when i get back. i also dont buy 4 piece rods any more.

    Yeah, that's what I'm taking from it too.

    So were you able to buy a new tip?

    That sucks- I started a new thread that might help.

    I store my rods without removing the fly.
    I like living where the Ogdens are high enough so that I'm not everyone's worst problem.- YetiMan

    yes. i use LL Bean rods and they were able to get me a new tip section.

    I really hope I can get one. I just got this rod about 6 weeks ago, and I'm not exactly made of money. I'd be bummed if I had to buy a whole new rod.

    Alright I'll quit whining about it now.

    Sweet, it will be covered by warranty. That's awesome. I guess it's back to the old Fiberglass rod for a couple weeks.
