Ahhhh shit.

My A610 recently dropped a sizeable cliff and then ragdolled down a talus slope. It appears to be bitched beyond repair.

I really liked this camera, and originally bought it based on recommendations from users here.

Like so many great products, it is now discontinued and has been replaced by the 8mp A630. However, the burst mode on the 630 is considerably slower that the 610(great for skis shots) and 5.0 mp seems plenty resolution for my purposes.

I see there are a few new 610s available at good prices on ebay.

Things I like about the 610:
-good battery life
-uses AA batteries
-manual setting options
-custom setting that you can leave on burst mode
-2.4 frames per second burst
-takes great pics

So, Is it worth going for the 630, or should I look for another 610?
Anyone used both?
Anyone recommend something better?
