    Mystery Animal

Anyone ever see one of these in Colorado? It came into my yard the other night and made these threatening noises while it charged us. Freaky ass thing!! Like a cross between a small dog, a pig and a big rat. Told the Div. of Wildlife about it. I guess a Nutria is the animal it could be. Guess they live here. Didn't know. Thought they were in New Mexico. I live no where near water though. Weird.

Me birthday??? I'm still 21, still Yung' enuff to git into an argy bargy now 'en then!?

Capibara, that's what me and the Div. of Wildlife discussed. Imagine this thing coming at you at about 12 midnight in your yard, snorting and breathing like a pig!

Fuck 'n Ay! Are we getting too crowded in with nature, or what??

The sad news is he was saying "You have been chosen, you have been chosen" but you were too terrified to listen.

Yeah, muskrat. He was probably pissed off 'cause he couldn't find any water.

I don't think muskrats can even live where there's no water, or not for long at least.

    Muskrat, muskrat candlelight
Doin' the town and doin' it right
    In the evenin'
    It's pretty pleasin'

    Muskrat Susie, Muskrat Sam
Do the jitterbug out in muskrat land
    And they shimmy
    And Sammy's so skinny

And they whirled and they twirled and they tangoed
    Singin' and jingin' the jango
    Floatin' like the heavens above
    It looks like muskrat love

Nibbling on bacon, chewin' on cheese
Sammy says to Susie "Honey, would you please be my missus?"
    And she say yes
    With her kisses

And now he's ticklin' her fancy
    Rubbin' her toes
Muzzle to muzzle, now anything goes
As they wriggle, and Sue starts to giggle

And they whirled and they twirled and they tangoed
    Singin' and jingin' the jango
    Floatin' like the heavens above
    It looks like muskrat love

Same here. Once, when I was looking for a good place to set a mink/muskrat trap, I had a conibear 110(kill trap) slam down on my hand as I was moving some river grass out of the way. Apparently, someone had the same idea I did. I was around 11 years old, by myself and couldn't get the trap off my hand with only one hand. I had to walk the 1/2 mile back home with the trap still on my hand and have my mom take it off. Luckily, it didn't break any bones, but it did hurt like a sonofabitch. Good thing it wasn't a 220.

actually, the original of that sung (written and performed by Willis Alan Ramsey) is pretty decent. The Capt. and Tenille ruined it for everyone.
