    Exclamation Paging SoCal Homesteders!

There's a realistic chance I may be moving down that way this weekend. Will know more details by tonight. Please pm me if you'd be willing to hook me up with some couch space until I find a place in the valley. Many bottles of liquid compensation to the helpful maginion.

Holly crap! Don't leave us for Hell-A DJ!

I kinda feel like its fantasy football except with maggots around here: "We can trade DJ to LA for Punani, but only if we can get Ubersheist from Colorado. Lets see, who else can we pick up? And can we lock in Tyrone as our franchise player? Call his agent!"

And don't forget the early season trade for Hardrider and DG's selection in the draft (rookie of the year?).

DJ, dammit, get that Roseville job, biatch.

Yes, but Malibu $$$$$$$$$$....$$$$$$$$$ That said, avoid the Valley like the plague. Driving on the 101/134 sucks serious ass.

Screw all those suburban neighborhoods (El Segundo, the Valley, etc), and psuedo-suburban neighborhoods (Venice, Malibu) and come live somewhere that really is urban. Downtown is a nice, gritty place to live, and you get lots of funny looks when you tell people where you live. The rent is cheap, the morning cummute is good in any direction, and I haven't been shot at once.

While we're shuffling Maggots around, SoCal is willing to trade DuctTape, Comish, Tical, tuffy, and barnballs for kellie and SheRa.

    Oh yeah, PM sent.

You mean you live in West Hollywood and the owner of the gay bar you work at is your sugar momma/bi-partner?

Well, it's offical. I'm out. LA is going to be home by monday evening. To those who pm'd me, I'll have details by friday, there's a good chance the company is going to put me up in a hotel until I find a place. Secondary question: anyone have some empty garage space I could fill with boxes/furniture during the move? I'm not wanting to waste trips between sacto and LA with a empty truck.

Since I'm a socal jong, I'll throw this on the table: I'm going to be working in the Encino/Van Nuys area. Where should I live to minimize commute and rent as well as maximize comfort/sanity?

DJ, when I moved up to NorCal my former employer paid for a hotel and moving/storage costs. Granted, things were booming then, but maybe you can score the same deal.

As for places to live in the valley, I'm not very familiar with that part of town. Sorry for not being much help there.

More importantly...CONGRATS!!!! We'll miss you up here.

Don't start missing me too much, I'll proably be making the superslut punani commute before too long. Let's see, leave LA friday night, crash in Davis, Kirkwood saturday, pack truckload of boxes, return to LA sunday. This could work for a while, that and snowjob is holding the fort down for a while so I gotta visit.

Dude, you're going to be right around the corner from me! I'm not so sure you should be real happy about that, but......

I'd let you stay on the couch for a while, but not sure the roomate would be down with that.

I'm just a couple of blocks north of the 101, near the 405. Not too bad of an area. The closer you can get to Ventura blvd, the better off you are, but the more you'll spend. North Hollywood is all artsy, but lots of it is kind of trashy. Studio City and Sherman Oaks are probably the best choices.

You guys can rip on the Valley all you want. All I know is that when mid summer is here, and it's 8 million degrees, all you biotches by the beach are gonna be callin' me up like, "dude, can we come swelter with you at your place?" And I'll be like, "Yeah, and then we'll make laps of the 101-134 interchange for a couple of hours, suck in loads of car exhaust, and be high as a frikken kite." Envy, gentleman, envy!
