SC Fork on a Turner DHR?

I have a 2004 DHR and am currently running a 2004 Boxxer World Cup with Motion Control upgrade. 2 weekends ago the fork felt really sticky and rough through the first few inches of travel so I started looking around for other forks. I am considering the new RS Domain 318 and the 2007 'zocchi 66RV.

Then last weekend I rode again and the fork felt 100x better. I am guessing there is some break-in time and that is why it is feeling better, but I am still considering a SC.

Is anyone running a similar setup on a DH bike? Any comments on the Domain 318 vs the 66RV (OEM fork). Does anyone know how the 66RV stacks up against the 66RC2X?

I do not race DH, but ride lift accessed terrain 95% of the time. The SC will add to the x-up to trick repertoire and shorten the turning rad, but I am not sure if it is the way to go yet.

i am stoked on my chumba f4 (similar to the dhr) with a totem 180 on it.

edit: that said, i'd be interested in boxxer if you sell it.

    also, maybe new oil?

Why would you get a domain over a totem?

Domain I rode felt awesome for the $$. Poor mans Lyric. But to rip a WC off the rig for this seems like a nono (you probably wont save any weight with this trade, and with the intended use and speed of intended use, SC vs DC is a moot point) 66rcx2 on the other hand......

A buddy of mine used to run a Turner DHR with an SC travis on the front and it seemed to work well for him. From what I saw taking some mild runs on the thing it was super plush and pretty stiff so you might want to look into one of those also. He had the 1.5 and I think it was the 180mm.

That would be the ideal situation. The WC is almost new, anyone interested? I have ridden DC forks on my last 4 DH bikes and would like to try something different. If someone is thinking of trading their 1 1/8" RC2X or Totem for my 2004 Boxxer WC w Motion Control PM me.

I will not have access to my bike for a few weeks, but I will see if I can dig up a pic of the fork.
