    Keystone or Sol Vista tomorrow?

Damnit... can't decide. Where should I ride DH tomorrow? Keystone or Sol Vista? Have any mags been to both?

I don't have a Keystone pass, so I'm thinking a free Sol Vista trip will be a bit better... but I haven't seen any of the new stuff at Keystone aside from 'Money'.... hmmmm.... and I've never ridden the Sol Vista trails...

    Discuss.

Also - anyone for DH tomorrow want to meet up there somewhere?

I'd be curious about Sol Vista myself.

I've heard that too... but not from anyone I know. I may just head there for the sake of checking it out. We'll see though.

Sunday I'll prolly do a group-ride out of Georgetown to check out the Clear Creek County trails. They are getting some serious hype - so I'll have to check that out to.

sol vista is sick. not keystone sick, but sick nonetheless. and free. there are three real trails to ride. each is pretty fast. pinning it - maybe 3 1/2 minutes top to bottom. the real beauty of sol vista is maybe 6 or 7 high speed kickers and doubles. if you want road gaps - look no further. but they are big, so if you aren't down for a minimum 10 down 18 out gapper, not sure its worth it. there are a few super highspeed jumps that literally you pedal into as fast as you possibly can and the sweet landing spot for the jump is probably 35-45 feet of distance. so, if that sounds like your cup of tea - it is well worth the price of admission.

that said, we'll be at the stone tomorrow. grey m3 w/ a 40 and a periwinkle bottlerocket.

Just rode Sol Vista last night (shuttling). Definitely way more tech than Keystone. Shorter runs, but much better man made booters and gap. They are big though. I passed on most, but the guys who hit them said they are about as good as it gets. You cant beat free either.
