Rocker or Reverse Camber Tele Style?

Any telemarkers currently rocking the rockers, or planning to?

Not sure I've seen or read anything about telemarking on rockered or reverse camber skis...

A few peeps have been rockin' spatulas with teles, one bloke here has praxis with teles and Hop has a bunch of rockered tele's. And I seem to remember Berko rockin' clown-shoes ('toons).

Most, if not all have posted here... so guess ya don't read that well.

I have always slightly wondered if the continued lack of reverse-reverse for telewackers is:

    1. stubborn retrogrouchishness
    2. fear
    3. perceived poor touring performance (as if that many pinners even tour at all)
    4. actual lukewarm performance (you rarely hear the type of puffery from telewackers that the alpine pussies engage in)
    5. lack of skill masquerading as lukewarm performance
    6. other

I for one am a stubborn retrogrouch and just don't see it happening. Plus, sideslipping sucks.

    For me:
    1. Nope.
    2. Nope.
    3. I have touring set up.
    4. Haven't skied them.
    5. I'm positively tepid, masquerading works for me.
    6. See above.

Trying to work out how much fun it is. I just haven't heard massive amounts of ranting and ravings on these boards, unlike the skis. I guess there are less tele skiers on here than alpine skiers, but that doesn't mean they don't make much noise. I am actually always surprised with how many of you tele.

So is it 4? Or 6 they suck. Or 6 no one really knows because of 1-3?

I'm also curious about the questions you have brought up, HS.

We reverse cambered some 192s (just a bit), but they won't get skied until this coming season, and we have some rockers designed by pechelman as his dream ski in 186 and 196 we're trying to get built for testing in Argentina.

my friend had spats, and he fuckign ripped on them. threading trees, ripping bowls and hucking. he loved them until they got stolen.

get them, unless you''re gay or suck at skiing or something.

Send them this way for the winter Splat, I'll be able to give you a full review. The 196 would be nice.

Actually, do you wanna a rep in Verbier?

Maggots on Bros are our reps.
But I believe we might stock a shop in Verbier.
It might be the only shop in the world that will carry Bros. This year.

What did you use as your mounting point?

    Summer cold?
You should hook up with pechelman and look at his design.
You know I'm always open to solid suggestions.
We needed them in the different cad files to cut bases and mill cores.

I'll have to check to be 100% sure. It was a rather lengthy process that took about 2 hours and a 12er of PBR in the shop. Don't know if the beer helped or not.

I think the mount ended up beeing a few cm south of Keith's reccomendation, maybe -2. There was another mag that mounted his and I think I went a cm or so forward from his mount.

Lemme know if you would like a measurement.
