    Thumbs up AUS stoke thread

Since i doubt any Aus mags will bother to complete a full TR, just add any photos you have hear and let the stoke grow.

Hope these ease the summer pain.

    Thumbs up Buller Bliss

Nice work MM, was up there myself on the 15/7. Snow was great, bit cloudy and foggy but still got some nice turns, mens downhill was ripping, wombat for the normal rail to rail turns, summit and howqua would have been good but again fog ruined that. Tirol down shaky knees for some serious speed, and boomerang and chute for some undisturbed turns.

Should be a great season, more snow on the 17/7. Bring it on Huey.

Thanks for the pics to remind me of how good yesterday was.

You've got to get out and ski far skiers right of the summit, the ridge that forms the left side 'wall' of fannys, good fun. Ohh yeah, the hike up to the Fire Hut is good but be warned chute 2 and 3 are sketch with lots of exposure chute 3 requires some billygoating on ice and rock better off just skiing chute 1 and wait for more depth.

yeah heard that fannys was kinda good, but the other chutes need some coverage. Sunday (15/7) was too foggy up the top to hike across or go down the chutes. They are due for some snow on Tuesday (17/7) so maybe fannys will be better then.

I get a little annoyed with the amount of unesscessary deaths down those runs, heros looking to say they've done it. It needs a sign on it that reads "better skiers than you have died here." or a sign with all of the names of the people who have died there, just to stop people and make them think before they go.

Plus you hear all the tossers in the bars/restaurants at the end of the day, talking real loud hoping people hear them, saying "oh yeah I did fannys this morning" You almost think people like that deserve to die down there.

Not interested in tools like that

Props for getting some Southern Hemisphere stoke happening. I might be making a trip to Hotham and Falls in a couple of weeks. If I remember the camera I will post some shots.

Its funny because its no real achievement to ski Fannys, unless its sheet ice but then why would you ski it.
