Look at where you spend your money and try to get a job working there - it's way easy to magnify your take home money when you're getting a discount on what you're spending most on. Example: love outdoors gear - work at REI to get a paycheck and a discount; if you really want to juice it you can pro deal gear and resell it.
Since you've got some skills at electricing, maybe you can get some property management work - that could reduce your rent and pay you, flexy schedule, and gets you paid. Another angle is to look at jobs that require special tools that you have (similar to the tree service suggestion) and get a pay bump just for being prepared.
