    Jamis Dakar XCR Pro...

Building up a Dakar XCR Pro frame and am having a little trouble with the FD. When mounted, the tightening screw is block by the rear suspension. I was planning on using a SRAM X9, but as that didn't fit, tried a Shimano XTR; but that didn't work either. Any suggestions from those who have either an Dakar XCR Pro, Expert or Comp? Thanks.

From what I recall, the older ones were just poorly designed that way with no real option for adjustablity once installed but this was 4-5 years ago. I'll ask my mechanic buddy if he remembers, he built a few.
