To clarify the 1-8-7 thing, here's some Snoop Dog with the proper way to use the phrase:

Six fo' five was the time on the clock,
When me and my homey bailed in the parking lot.
The scene looked strange and it felt like a set up
Better not be, cause if it is, they're getting lit up.
Oh here they come from the back and they laxed.
I'm checkin for the gats they strap, so whats up black?
    Chill, lets hit a deal,
if it aint up to what you feel then grab your steel.
Right, so, what you motherfuckers gonna come at me with?
Hope you ain't wantin' none of my grip.
Cause you can save that shit. Guess what they told me?
'We give you 20 G's if you snitch on your homey,
We'll put you in a home, and make your life plush,
Oh yeah, but you got to sell dope for us."
Hmmm, let me think about it
Turned my back and grabbed my gat and guess what I told him before I shot
    it:
'If you don't quit, yeah, if you don't stop, yeah, I'm lettin' my gat pop'
Cause it's 1-8-7 on an undercover cop

Yeah, and you don't stop (cause it's 1-8-7 on an undercover cop)
Yeah, and you don't stop (cause it's 1-8-7 on an undercover cop)

O.k. Group purchase has not been initiated yet. I have got the skis other than the THA down to $170. $200 for the THA, we are working on a fair fixed shipping price.

I'm getting nothing out of this so please be patient as we work out the details. He will ship to the Canuks but shipping is going to run a bit more. Let me know if this changes anything for you. I'm hoping we can accomidate everyone but I'm planning on going down the list, first come first serve style.

OMG please just stop calling them that! They are 1-8-7's for christs sake! This site prides itself on being full of well informed assholes like me doesn't it?! You have been informed! It isn't about what NS kids might say it's about simply calling a ski by it's crafty pun of a name. It is 187cm tall and has a crazy death skull graphic going on to make it gangsta. It is the first ski to refer directly to its size and style in it's name if I am not mistaken, and calling it THA ruins that.

hehe.....I guess I've never been very politically correct. (19) THA 1-8-7, (5) each 190 and 180 First Bloods and the one guy with the park ski. Anyone want to buy me a set of the THA 1-8-7's? Is a pair of 185 Blowers and 190 Gotamas to much overlap for the 1-8-7?

Anywho....Here is the list to date.

I would like to change my request to a 180 1st blood from the 1-8-7s. The 1-8-7s overlap too much w the blowers

I'll get to the bottom of that reason shortly (I've been in contact with Campbell the CEO) but I suspect it is related to the fact that Ninthward production went so poorly and was soo late this year that the brand severed it's contract with the factory and refused to pay for pairs that were not up to par and that were too late to sell to dealers.

Every other ski that has ever come out of the 5axis factory has fallen apart. Just to warn you, but it is a place where snowboards are made and where startup ski brands go to cheaply do their first run.

When I have more facts i'll let you know.
yeah you're correct, 9thward changed plants, setting back production a couple months, hence the skis were a couple months late. this years skis should be finished by the beginning of septemeber. and to those who don't know...all the skis for sale there are all 05/06 skis, not last seasons.

    All others $170 + shipping

Interestingly enough, he has 383 pairs of skis but only 28 THA 1-8-7

yeah also curious on the payment, but i'm sure you'll let us know as soon as you do.

and i think all of us who end up getting a pair of these should throw cooltsi a five or ten spot for his trouble.

Group Purchase is ready to roll.

O.k. I got off the phone with them.

Again; $200 for the THA 1-8-7 and $170 for any other ski

Shipping is going to be a flat rate of $25 via UPS to the continental US and $45 to the Canadians via USPS.

Paypal and questions can be directed to info at five axis dot com with questions attn: Marc

When you pay or have questions please reference "Ninthward TGR Group Purchase" and include the following info:

    Model:
    Length:
    US or Canada:

Group purchase is valid now until Friday July 20, 2007 17:00 PST

Please keep your questions to a minimum, I asked about mounting etc...and I think Marc is a snowboarder rather than a skier as he suggested I talk to my local shop.

Go get some skis, and if you want to pitch in $5 or $10 I'll put them towards a pair of 1-8-7 for myself. Oh, I have pics of the 180 and 190 First Bloods that are a bit better than the ones on E-Bay, I'll try and get them linked shortly.

Lastly, please PM me with what you ended up purchasing so I can keep a tally. He had 17 on the 1-8-7 at last count and he had 28 pairs with gobs of the others but it is first come first serve as I don't see a point in trying to manage the list when there is more skis than were asked for.

If we tack on 10 bucks to our paypal payment will they automatically credit it towards skis for you?

    Thanks for organizing this.
