crap pulled trigger to early off of ebay for the 187. They look good though and they shipped them fast. The flex is stiffer than I thought and the construcion looks burly.
If ski companies didn't make new skis every year I wouldn't have to get new skis every year.

Don't feel too bad, I would've probably done the same if I'd seen them on there before today... still might if this group buy falls through, $250 + $15 is a hell of a deal considering the closest thing to them I can think of (others can correct me if I'm way off on this) are the Blowers that I found new for $390 + ship online.

Good to hear that the construction looks solid.

I just keep telling myslef that so I can't complain the deals was great and the shipping was fast, not that fast matters because we have 4 more months untill ski season.

I'm 100% definitely in for a pair of THA 187's now.

Will this be available for us Canadians though?

BTW they are definitely called 1 8 7's not THA's. Like ONE EIGHT SEVEN, ie murder like in rap songs and whatnot. Tha is like the gangsta spelling of The.

i'd be wary of buying from 5axis if you are concerned about warranty. ha, then again since the owner defaulted on his skis (big surprise) from the factory, chances are you won't get your skis warrantied at all.

you get what you pay for.

Who cares about a warranty on a pair of brand new skis for 200. Ski them for a season and sell them on NS for the same you bought them for....

Can you get a set price up on some of these so that I know how much I'd be in for before I make a decision?

don't know what the quality of these skis, but I know that my THA 187s have held up all season. The only thing that didn't meet my expectations were the bases. I have Line Chronic Wides and the bases on those are prestine, with the THAs, every time I hit a rock I had huge gouges... nothing a p-tex repair couldn't fix. Then again, being 240lbs doesn't help. Other than that, the ski is bomber. The topsheet is super strong, hardly no chips. It's a stiff ski and super light and lively. I highly recommend it, ESPECIALLY at that price.

I'm a highly likely maybe on THAs and the only consideration is what the final price turns out to be.
