    Thumbs down Headwinds

My how I despise you and your unwavering dedication to ruining my morning commute. Every mile, every twist, I half expected you to go away or at least relax, but no. Revolution after revolution, mile marker after mile marker, you were there, all up in my face like a New Year's hangover. Like the opening flakes of a powder dump on your last day of the weekend, you let up after 12 miles, with about 1/2 mile to go. Thanks for the ball kick.

For every head wind there's an equal and opposite tail wind.

Yeah right, like that ever happens.

Headwinds are the only thing that truly frustrate me on the bike. I try to punch the lil bastard but its tough because I can't see him

Every day without fail I get headwinds on my commute back from work. Nice cross wind for the first 3 miles, then once the climbing starts it's full-on headwinds. Fantastic.

Still way better than driving to work though

I had some nasty head winds going both directions on the way to school then back to my apt. Riding through weather fronts is never fun.

Had one of the most severe head winds I've ever ridden in last night riding home from work. (20 mi) Then I got drenched from torrential rain while ascending the last hill (700') with the headwind raging and to top it off a flat tire on the downhill to the house from hitting a rock at the entrance to a rock quarry who I've called 3 times this season asking them nicely to please sweep the road like they did so consistantly last year. Yea I love headwinds too...and developers who leave crap all over the side of the road (rocks, nails, wood, etc) at the entrances to thier developments.
