    BCA low fat skins

How do they compare to the other brands?
I use G3 but I need a new wide skin.

Low Fats are lighter and more pliable, but they dont glide or grip or repel water as well

    I prefer Ascensions.

Don't bother. I got suckered into buying them and they're horrible. They glop up really easily and the glue is terrible.

My Ascensions are the exact opposite.

Yup. The Glue on Low Fats is some of the worst. Ascensions and G3s are fairly comparable.

On a scale of 1 to 10, they don't rank. Look elsewhere.

I would say Ascensions are best followed very closely by Glidelites and then G3s but that's just me. I've had all four through the years.

My 7 year old daughter says they climb pretty well. I got a pair at the REI garage sale & cut them in half for kid's skins. They worked great for that. I wouldn't have them for myself. Plush seems too short & glue is definitely inferior to BD's gold label.
