elesquiador, it's doubtful I'll be there. I done blowed up my face. I plan to ski someplace just to see how bad it does or doesn't hurt and make a decision with regard to the comp the following week.

crinkle, yep. It sucks. I took all the precautions, but got worked anyway. The dentist was really surprised. He said the impact was a 10 out of 10 even with all the safety gear.

jibij, thanks. I'll pretend to know that means.

hev, nice spins man. I'm not telling the tune. I'll buy a drink for anybody who can guess it (meats or people told the answer by meats don't get to guess).

Here's the x-ray. The break is pretty obvious:

Like the two hits at the end before the rail, the straight-air-to chair landing and the back-flip to sommersault (s).

Cool editing, hope your teefs are doing better.

Great video. That song kicks so much ass. That was a good show.
As for the tooth that blows. Hope all that works out.

MD9, I got your message LATE sunday when I finally reentered nextels network.

By now you know I never met up with GT, and figured you had probably made a decision as to what to do.

So....what is the outcome of the tooth episode???

major sorry it happened, hell, I have 14 broken teeth from a similar episode on skis in my youth.

FRZ, No worries man. I got ahold of him later that night. Besides I never returned your late night "nipple messages".

So do you have root canals and crowns? (or any other maggots for that matter). I really don't want to risk needing a partial or something worse down the road. I want a wee bit of piece 'o mind knowing that the tooth will be strong for future impacts (although this is the first skiing/tooth incident in all my years skiing). I'm contemplating seeing an orthodontist after the crown is in place to put a permanent retainer across the upper span in back (like on the back of my lower teeth) to help spread out any future impacts. After that I plan to splice my DNA with a turtle's for back protection.

Attach a cat to the front of your jacket by its back fur and smear butter all over your back and in theory you should just keep spinning in perpetuity.

Yep, one root canal, NSR though. What can I answer for you? GT40 is a good source I hear too.

That does not look nice at all.

one root canal, with crown. Major pain in the ass. It stays one color, the color of my teeth when I was 14.

I have bond (hell if I know what it is) on the other teeth that just were chipped nicely. It falls of all the time, i.e. birthday parties.

I'm guessing the crown should suffice, no need to get to crazy.

Good footage MD9, you even include jr and myself, thanks. We had a great time and look forward to more kicker sessions this spring. You guys are doing the back flips and I am perfecting my backslap. I figure that someone has to give jibij some competition for the "old-guy mad steeze" category. Or is that mad old-guy steeze...

Bummer about the tooth, lets hope it heals quickly. Also can you PM me with your e-mail so I can pass along the footy I have?

my steeze is not mad... it's just old.

reminds me of the day that md9 and I saw a guy lapping the park at loveland. he was getting one or two feet of air on the hips and was in total gorilla steeze position. his hands couldn't have been more than a few inches off the ground. he had to be in his 60's and he was having a blast. we dubbed him "old gorilla steeze dude".

that's a nice video with some good airs with an unfortunate result. May you heal soon and never know the flu.

That was from the breck park. It's pretty nice. They have quarter pipe hit I'd like to try flairs on if they wouldn't close it as soon as it gets slushy.
