I've been searching for some sort of adapter to fit bindings jigs, for wider skis. I have a Look/Rossi wide jig, but it only goes up to approx. 98mm underfoot.
I found that sliding closet door brackets add about 20mm to the jig. I bought them at Home Depot; about $3.50 for a pair. Here's what to do:
Wide jig + adapter brackets (the little rubber feet at the top of the pic came with the jig; remove them to install the adapters):
12mm offset brackets -- the widest I could find. They came in a smaller offset size too, but get the widest ones you can. I'm going to keep looking for ones with higher offset.
Remove the plastic wheels that are riveted to the brackets. I used a Dremel tool. Very easy.
2 nuts-n-bolts per bracket arm. On the Look/Rossi jig, the holes in the brackets matched up with some of the holes in the jig arms, so I didn't have to drill anything. If I drilled the brackets (or the jig arms) the brackets would be straighter, but who cares.
One end, completed (this photo makes them look uneven, but they're OK):
Completed jig with adapters, sitting on a Rossi Axiom (110mm waist), with easily another 10mm of clearance to go -- so this little project should work for a wide Look/Rossi jig, fitting skis up to approx. 120mm waist. Eyeballing it, the jig looks centered on the ski using these brackets.
