    Dye Sublimation in New England

So I'm in charge of ordering new jerseys for my Club Ultimate Frisbee team (Colt .45 out of Hartford, CT) and when looking for a design, we found one that will not work with screen printing, but is a perfect candidate for Dye Sublimation. Does anyone know of any printers who will do dye sublimation in Southern New England. My google skills are severely lacking and its driving me nuts, anyone who knows anything about tshirt printing in southern new england...please help!

    Cheers

The maggot bike jersey is being made by ATAC sportswear. They have some other non-bike specific designs on their site, like a technical t-shirt, and what they call a "dragon boat" jersey which just looks to me like a tight Under Armour compression type jersey. They do customized sublimated designs.

I am not actually sure if you can do sublimation on actual cotton t-shirt material, I am more familiar with it on synthetic jersey type stuff.

Oh, duh, they are not in New England, but that's what shipping is for.

I dont mind shipping, but I've got a deal going with patagonia to get jerseys through them, so the place would have to be a printer only and not require me to purchase their suppliers jerseys or whatever.

My Ulty team just got those Patagucci jerseys- they rock. You will love them. I have never had a shirt stay so dry and so light during a tournament, and it gets HOT here.

We have a local hook-up for dye sub. We also got it paid for by Hooters, which is nice. I can get you in contact if you need. They might know somebody in CT.

Isn't getting t-shirts made a pain in the ass? Fun, but a pain in the ass. The end result is really nice, though.

I'll keep my eye on Colt.45. You guys playing in any UPA tourneys soon?

I'd love to have the contact info if you got it. PM it to me. It is great, but yeah its a pain in the ass.

We've played in 3 UPA tourneys already and one tourney in Canada. Here's us on the UPA website: http://www.upa.org/scores/scores.cgi...ge=3&team=4926

Hopefully I'm gonna come watch Natties in Sarasota again as long as I have the money for it. What tourneys are you headed to this year?

    PM sent.

We are playing in Florida Sectionals, and maybe South Eastern Regionals this year.

Also have Toss in the Moss in Savannah,GA, and possibly a tourney in New Orleans. Lots of hat tourneys this year too.

You playing in co-ed or open?

edit- nevermind- open. Played open for 3 years. We never did much, so we switched to co-ed. Seems to be going a little better.
At 33, I am moving to Masters next season.

If you make it to Sarasota, let me know. We will be there. I will have a newborn, but I am sure I can sneak out for a bit.
