    Bomb threat at Carl's Jr in downtown SLC

    NW corner of 200S & State

    There are helis circling.

    Roads closed for a 1-bloc radius.

    They are setting up the bomb robot to go in Carl's Jr - I just checked it out from the corner office with binoculars.

    The cops seem fairly casual.

    Carl's Jr. is known for gut bombs, but I've never seen them send in the bomb squad.

    All is quiet here on the corner of Main and 200S. Though I did notice the heli's when I was outside a few minutes ago. I figured they were cthere for another of one those 30 person rallys against Rocky down at City Hall.

    The robot just shot something at a green case on the curb under the Carls Jr. sign. It was really loud, but the case didn't blow up. The case was probably 10" x 20" x 3".
