    Vegoose 2007

well the dates were announced 2 weeks ago(10-26/28) now we get our first headliner:

    http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/..._id=1003604012

Rage Against The Machine will be one of the headliners at the third annual Vegoose Music Festival, Billboard.com has learned. The event is set for Oct. 28-29 at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas.

Vegoose is produced by Superfly Presents and A.C. Entertainment, the same team that produces the Bonnaroo Music Festival in Manchester, Tenn. Vegooose producers declined to comment on specific artists booked for this year's show, but did say an official lineup will be announced in mid-July.

"We're very excited about the lineup and thrilled to be bringing Vegoose back to Vegas for a third year," says Superfly president Jonathan Mayers.

The Vegoose appearance will be one of only a handful of live dates for Rage this year. The band played the Coachella festival in Indio, Calif., in April, and is set to play a one-off date at Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy, Wis., on Aug. 24 with Queens Of The Stone Age.

RATM would like to remind everyone again that: "We are close to breaking up, could happen anytime. Could happen tomorrow. Could happen tonight. Could happen after our 100 stop world tour that may or may not get kicked off at the hammerstein ballroom in NYC. So come out and see us, before we break up"

investigating has led me to believe that lineup i posted above is most likely bs, Wilco is playing voodoo in NOLA the 28th. Wife said she heard on the news last night that RATM are on andPumpkins and Chili Peppers are rumoured to be added

Still good, but not quite as good, we'll see what else gets added.

Gogol Bordello is freaking fun live though...
