Hey just wondering if anyone has ridden Ninthward First Bloods '06? Not my first choice for skis but good deals are to be found. Was wondering about flex, durability, weight... the usual nothin too specific.

I don't know anything about these skis but this is the only place you can ask about them. Any mention of Ninthward at Newschoolers gets deleted by the mods. Something about Ninthward not paying for advertising they bought on the site. Oh yah. This thread should be in TECH TALK, JONG
if you want skis that turn like old straight skis, ninthward skis are for you. they suck big time if you actually ski.
they never made a pair?
yup, they suck. their skis suck worse, and they suck more than that at paying bills. don't worry they'll be out of business soon. hopefully the owner's dad realizes his son is wasting all of his dad's money and that company will never make a dime soon.
This made me laugh, http://thegoat.backcountry.com/blog/...inthward-skis/.
The trumpet scatters its awful sound Over the graves of all lands Summoning all before the throne
Death and mankind shall be stunned When Nature arises To give account before the Judge
No, just small talk.
Vtec just kicked in yo!
They certainly made the First Bloods because I've skied on them, and they aren't bad. And I also know they are producing a full line for next year. And I've heard they don't take care of their athlete's very well, so they might not be around too long, considering the niche they are trying to fill.
Ninthward skis are by far the worst skis I have ever bought... I thought I was getting a good deal from the price but it turned out that any amount of money spent on these skis is too much. Bottom line... DO NOT BUY NINTHWARD!!!
I have a set of 180 firstbloods, they're pretty nice. They're my park skis, thus I center mounted them and they dont do tight turns too well unless you turn with your heels, but they're definitely nice and tough and they've stood up to shitloads of rail use and skiing over rocks with no major damage.
