Quick, I need your help with this purchase decision!

2003 Rocky Mountain Edge for $900 obo "less than normal wear"
    Bought new in 2004
    Mostly stock

It's a size large and I'm 6' 2" and lanky. I kinda want to seal the deal on a bike but don't want to get into the wrong thing. Reviews seemed decent.

What should I expect/ask price wise.

    Thanks.

That sounds like a completely fair price, if condition is as advertised.

Yep, decent bike, fun geometry. Solid.

Gun is loaded and cocked.... waiting to pull the trigger!

Looks like I'm going to have to wait until next weekend to pick it up though.

But it's okay, 'cause I'm getting a new bike!

Take a look at the price on Rocky Mountain Slayers at your local Performance, before you pull the trigger. Saw 'em on clearance for $850-ish not so long ago.

Right, I'm pretty sure I missed out on that. I haven't seen any Rocky Mountains on there for a few weeks now.

I have one, like it, has held up well. I'm way less gnar than many on here, but it's still been smashed into a tree or two and come away unscathed.

If it says OBO always offer at least $100 less. Just my .02, if $900 was his low he wouldn't say obo.

Right, I got it for $850. Looks like we'll be shipping it instead now, so I'll get it earlier!
