ramp delta solly 997's

since this site is the best source of wisdom regarding old school binders this jongs come begging. I have a primo pair of 997 equipe drivers 14 din they are mounted on a suspension/driver plate.In my searches i've concluded these can be remounted flat,no prob. my hesitation lies in the amount of ramp delta created by this action. On the plates they already have 7mm.Without,the toe portion of the plate being thicker than the heel by @3.5 , it is @ 10.5 mm.
1 Does this not seem excessive
2 If so what would my easiest solution be.

You should just send them to me and I'll test them out for you. I'll even mount them to my Praxis when they get here and I'll let you know if it's ok to ski them this way.

could you not dig up a 3.5mm riser for the heel piece? I know all the lab 916s come with thin yellow risers for the toe and heel pieces. Maybe that would do the trick to maintain the original ramp angle?
