Just cuz you got reinforcements doesn't mean you shouldn't send the 'superloop' anyway. That's what we did yesterday, it was $$$.

Anyways, wish I could go but I'm out for the next 2-3 days for work.

Sorry you missed us Shmoe, rode with Springsproject and John today. Saw a beat-up single in the back of the car and inquired.
    Springsproject: "That's John's, he's retarded."
Didn't notice till later that Springsproject himself has no granny gear, 1X9. Dudes R hard.
Did two laps on the 'downhill' trails in Glenwild, then up, over and around for a total of 15 miles. Nice. Mellow. Legs feel 'a bit' tired.

    edit: True you slacker.

Wait...so are you saying drop down into Millcreek and ride all the way down to Big Water, climb back up to the ridge and then down Mill D? Jebus, that's a lot of climbing.

    Giddyup.

JoshP and I probably couldn't get started until a little later, so what time you guys thinking?

    Yup, that.

Doesn't much matter to me. I have some other work to get done, and plan to be a little hungover. Within those constraints I'm flexible.

If anyone wants to ride Bobsled this morning at 9:30, I am taking the short loop from Terrace Hills and might make a few laps depending on how hot it is.

    BUMP!
Who's riding the next three days?
I've got the next threee days off and want to do some big rides. Unfortunately, my car's going to BobMC's shop in the AM, so I'll be limited in my mobility for a coupla days.

Also, I'll be riding in the Bobsled vicinity this evening around sixish if anyone wants to join.

I Might be around if my climbing plans fail.

I did deer valley yesterday and like a fool, I forgot my sunscreen...to make me an even bigger fool, I thought I would be fine.....blisters today. ontop of a blistered face and legs, I ended up bruising my leg and shoulder pretty bad on a digger in theives forest..put some bad gouges in my stanchion too Guess i will be trying to take off the sharp burrs and hope that it only leaks a little oil and doesn't blow out the seals any time soon

How did the crest ride turn out?

We had fun. Everything's in pretty sweet shape, but was super crowded. I guess that's when you get when it's a bluebird weekend and 212 degrees in the valley.

Two-thirds of the way down Mill D, there's a 30 foot climb with a rock in the middle. I remember it as being off-camber, not just an up-and-over. Am I misremembering, or did somebody sanitize the trail?

Yup, someone must have "fixed" it

    I am planning a Mill D/Guardsman/Crest/Big water/Mill D tomorrow (6/26) if anyone is interested.
    Edit: after work about 4pm

Maybe I am calling it the wrong name? After the crest, making a left at the T to Dog lake then down Mill D, whatever that is called.

I can start later, but would need to ride a shorter loop or shuttle.

Yeah I noticed that too...weaksauce. I was like, either I rode that better than I ever have, or it got sanitized. I also swear the spine is dumbed down even more this year.

Great ride with powho Sunday on Crest/MillD, I think we finished the ride in an hour. After riding DH at DV all day, the Crest felt like a big sidewalk well, aside from Puke Hill anyway.

I'm taking my newly built hardtail out for her first ride around 5:30 tonight. So, if anybody wants to ride something buff and wait on me to tweak stuff (sounds really appealing, doesn't it?), it just could be on.

I'm trying to get out in the AM sometime though...

I've got a date-like thing that I need to be back for.

One of these days I'll get out you ladies.
