So after spending too much money on those packages of beef jerky, I think I've finally made the decision to make my own. I've seen the Ronco food dehydrator, as well as several other random models based on my google searches. My question is, does anyone have experience with food dehydrators or making beef jerky and can anyone steer me towards or away from a particular dehydrator? Also, if you have any recipes, I'd love to get my hands on some that people like rather than whatever I can find on google. While its no substitute for bacon, it keeps better when I'm out for a day doing activities.
